This is an original artwork created by Angela Morris-Winmill. Angela has used a silkscreen to print Elizabeth Tower, home to 'Big Ben'.
This is not a reproduction but an original map of London. Rather than using ink to print the design as is typical of silkscreen printing Angela Morris-Winmill has used gold leaf which gives the artwork a beautiful shine as you walk around it and it catches the light. The folds of the map are then filled with gold leaf which is inspired by the Japanese practice of kintsugi.
