Daniel Byrne Spotlight

12 - 24 November 2026
Overview

Join us at Dalloz Contemporary for a special Spotlight celebrating the work of contemporary artist Daniel Byrne.

Presenting the largest collection of Daniel Byrne's work available to view to date, this exclusive exhibition brings together an exciting collection of his limited editions and original artworks.

About the artist

Since graduating from Falmouth Art College in 1993, Daniel Byrne has developed a distinctive artistic practice inspired by the visual drama of the natural world.

Initially responding to the traditional Victorian butterfly displays that fascinated him, Daniel sought to breathe new life into these specimens. Replacing uniformity with movement, he began creating intricate, hand-cut compositions that appear to break free from the confines of their frames.

Throughout his career, Daniel has become increasingly interested in the concept of multiples and the natural formations of creatures as they flock and gather. His work explores these collective movements, transforming nature's most captivating specimens into expressive compositions.

His commissions include work for The Dorchester Hotel and The Grosvenor, alongside an exclusive collection of Victorian-inspired bell jars for Liberty London.
