Yuliya Martynova

Born in Kazakhstan and now based in the UK, this contemporary artist is known for her soft, dreamlike paintings that evoke a sense of calm and escapism. Trained in classical art, she transitioned from a corporate career to pursue painting full-time, bringing a distinctive depth and sensitivity to her practice.

Her work is characterised by atmospheric skyscapes, delicate florals, and expressive abstracts, often exploring themes of fragility, movement, and renewal. With a light, layered approach, her compositions create a sense of weightlessness and quiet reflection.

Her work has been exhibited internationally and featured in galleries across London and the US, as well as in luxury hospitality spaces and private members’ clubs. Her paintings have also appeared in film and television, including Doctor Strange and Scandal.
